Today is a Slovenian national holiday.Today we don't go to school and our parents too. We eat just Slovenian national cake called ''potica'' and we drink water.People send special greetings cards and have parties. This week we don't get any homework. Everybody dresses in brown, because ''potica'' is in brown colour and from paper we make coloured cubes for luck. I love this holiday - it is cool, isn't it ?

People send special greetings cards and have parties.Everybody dresses in green and wears a shramrock ( a plant that has a left with three parts)

Hello!Today is happy Tuesday!

Here is one good recipe for cookies.

Potato Chip Cookies

1 cup shortening

1 cup brown sugar

2 cups flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 scant tsp. salt

2 eggs

2 cups crushed potato chips

1 cup chopped nuts

Cream shortening and sugar, then add eggs, one at a time.

Mix well.

Add flour, baking soda and salt to batter.

Fold in chips and nuts.

Drop small amounts onto a buttered cookie sheet.

Flatten with a fork dipped in sugar.

Bake at 350º for 8 to 10 minutes, until light brown.
